About membership manager
Keeping members is the first task. The manager manages the membership, analyses the membership structure to see who belongs, who is leaving and which groups are under-represented, and works out why a member who renewed for years has stopped. Product knowledge matters here, so that members can be shown what the membership gives them.
Recruiting is the second task. The manager reads the market trend reports and develops marketing plans accordingly, aimed at people who are not yet members.
Keeping the organisation running smoothly is the third. The manager monitors the processes, systems and strategies the membership runs on and ensures they are efficient, finds solutions to the problems that appear in them, applies communication techniques and communication principles across a large and uneven audience, and works to the organisation's standards and its corporate social responsibility commitments.
