About medium

The work takes the form of a conversation with a client. The medium listens actively, protects the privacy of the person who has come, and advises them on the matters they brought, and what is passed on can carry a very personal meaning for them. Séance equipment is used in the process, together with knowledge of occultism. Rhetoric is part of the role as well.

The medium also acquires new clients and builds a network of contacts in the field.

One thing has to be stated plainly: communication with spirits is not supported by scientific evidence, and a description of this occupation says what the person doing it does, not what follows from it. There is no recognised professional qualification for the work. Particular care and honesty about what the service does not provide are called for where a client comes in genuine distress.
