About psychic

Consultations are the work itself. A client arrives with a question about health, money, a relationship or a direction to take, and the psychic answers through the practice they work in — tarot cards, palm reading, astrological charts, or conversation alone. Reading the person sitting opposite counts as much as the method, so the psychic interprets behaviour, tone and what the client leaves unsaid, and shapes the reading around it. Advice on personal matters follows, which makes discretion part of the job: what a client discloses in a reading stays between the two of them.

Alongside the readings there is a practice to run. The psychic finds their own clients rather than being sent them, keeps contact with others working in the same field, and develops their own skills over time.

The work calls for persuasive speech and close listening, for knowledge of the occult traditions a given practice draws on, and for care with people who may be in a difficult position. Requirements are set mainly by what clients expect.
