About astrologer

The astrologer observes celestial bodies and uses specialist astrological software to establish positions for a given moment and place, then prepares horoscopes from them. The astrologer then presents their own interpretation, which addresses a client's temperament, their dispositions regarding health, their emotional life and marriage, their business and career possibilities and other personal matters.

The astrologer also assesses a person's character, gives advice on personal matters and delivers a reading in words the client can understand, which calls for rhetoric. The advice may concern, for example, relationships, work or important decisions.

The astrologer also acquires new customers and manages their own professional development. An astrologer is not a doctor, a lawyer or a therapist, and a client who arrives with a medical or a legal problem needs to be referred to a specialist. There are no formal qualification requirements, and the field is not a natural science.
