About advertising installer

The advertising installer puts advertising material where it was planned: on large-format sites, in display cases, on walls, in buses and on underground transport. The installer prepares the surface, removes the previous poster, cleans the glass and casing, and then applies the new material flat and free of bubbles. The installer knows outdoor advertising and the types of advertising sites.

Part of the work happens at height. The installer uses climbing equipment and platforms, wears personal protective equipment and works to safety procedures. The installer also secures the work zone against passers-by.

Maintaining the sites belongs to the job as well. The installer installs and maintains the advertising street furniture: display cases, columns, stands and free-standing structures, checking their condition, their fixings and their lighting. The installer follows company policy and the agreement made with the owner of the building. Putting up an advertisement requires the property owner's consent, and local rules on signage may apply on top of that.
