About leaflet distributor
The two methods are different kinds of work. Handing leaflets to passers-by means approaching people who did not ask to be approached, choosing the moment, and keeping a professional manner towards everyone who takes one and everyone who refuses. Letterbox delivery is quieter and heavier: a full route, a set number of addresses, and the discipline of covering all of them rather than the easy ones.
Knowing the ground decides the result. The distributor works from knowledge of geographic areas, follows the route in an order that makes sense on foot, and distributes local information materials as well as commercial advertising.
The conditions are part of the job rather than an exception to it. The distributor works outdoors through rain, cold and heat, carrying the material, and the leaflets have to arrive dry and readable at the last address of the round as well as the first. Pace and route planning matter.
