An ICT consultant is a person who advises on how to optimise the use of the tools and systems an organisation already has, formulates recommendations on developing and implementing a business project or a technology solution, and takes part in defining projects. The consultant raises awareness of information technology innovations and of the value they might hold for a business, and takes part in evaluating and selecting ICT solutions.

About ICT consultant

Starting from what exists is the professional discipline here. The consultant identifies the technology needs, monitors system performance, and manages the standard enterprise resource planning system, to judge whether existing solutions can be used better before a purchase is recommended.
