About court jury coordinator

Research comes before the trial opens. The coordinator studies who sits on the panel and applies practical knowledge of human behaviour to what that composition means for the arguments planned. This is an assessment of how a case will be received rather than of whether it is legally sound.

Watching the trial is the part done in the room. The coordinator reads the jury while evidence is being given, notices which lines land and which lose the panel, and advises on trial strategy as the proceedings move. Communicating with the jury where the procedure allows it belongs to the role, within strict limits.

Preparation and documents fill the rest. The coordinator helps prepare witnesses and build the argument, drafts legal documents, gives legal advice, works from a knowledge of court procedures, and protects the client's interests. Everything here is bounded by the law: a practice that would influence a juror improperly is prohibited, so the coordinator has to know the limits of the role well.
