About system configurator
The work is configuration rather than programming from scratch. The configurator carries out the configuration activities, writes scripts where the standard options do not reach, integrates the system components so that the parts work as one system, and migrates legacy data, which was recorded under different rules and has to arrive meaning the same thing.
The configurator works from ICT system user requirements, interprets technical texts, and produces flow charts so that a process is agreed before it is built into settings.
The configurator provides connectivity with users, gathers customer feedback on applications, and changes the configuration on the strength of it. Knowledge of digital systems underpins the technical work, and cognitive psychology helps with the user side of the work: how a screen is ordered, how many steps a task takes and what a default should be are questions about people rather than about software.
