As a rail intermodal equipment operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers and containers on and off railcars and chassis. Your day-to-day work involves operating specialized equipment, maneuvering tractor-trailer combinations in challenging spaces, and coordinating with yard management systems. You will use on-board computer peripherals to communicate with the yard management computer system, identify railcars, track cargo movements, and ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and scheduling requirements.
