Construction painting supervisor
A construction painting supervisor is a person who plans and supervises the work of the painters assigned to a project or a site, directs what they do, and evaluates the result. The role covers the whole scope the painters carry out: surface preparation, priming, coating, finishing and making good afterwards.

About construction painting supervisor
Planning comes before the first brush. The supervisor sets out the sequence of the work across the site, decides how many painters each area needs and when, and responds to requests for quotation.
Materials decide whether the work lasts. The supervisor checks material compatibility and inspects the construction materials that arrive on site. Presenting product characteristics is part of the job as well. The supervisor demonstrates the features of the products to be used, and the supplies are inspected for damage, moisture or other defects before they are used.
Safety and inspection close the loop. The supervisor ensures compliance with health and safety standards and follows the health and safety procedures that apply in construction. Painting inspections are carried out against the specification, and the painters' work is supervised and assessed as it goes rather than only at handover.
