About clinical trial assistant
The assistant manages the paperwork a trial cannot run without: case report forms, study protocols and informed consent forms, each of which has to be complete, signed, dated and traceable. The assistant keeps records of the side effects of medicines, noting each reported adverse effect. Clinical reports are prepared, and research data from biomedical studies is recorded as it is generated rather than reconstructed afterwards.
The assistant manages healthcare users' data and carries out clinical coding procedures so that findings can be counted and compared, and keeps treatment records in order.
Clinical sciences and medical studies give the assistant enough understanding to see when an entry does not fit the clinical picture, and the evidence-based approach of general medicine explains why a trial has to follow its protocol exactly for its results to be reliable. Entry routes include medical or related studies, and detailed requirements are set by the employer.
