About armed forces training and education officer
The training has a classroom part. The officer prepares and delivers theoretical courses: law, national and international regulations, the principles of defence and attack, world affairs, and the codes and procedures the military uses. They also develop the training materials.
The officer also runs practical training. They train troops, run physical training and drill, and teach the handling and use of weapons, the operation of military vehicles and machines, first aid, self-defence and attack. They conduct field exercises, assess threats in risk areas, manage troop deployment and supervise the maintenance of military equipment.
