- Assess the quality of sport competitions to ensure adherence to established standards and regulations
Safety and Participant Protection
- Contribute to health, safety, and protection of all participants and spectators during sporting events
- Monitor playing conditions and equipment safety, stopping play when hazards are identified
- Respond to injuries or medical emergencies by coordinating with medical personnel and ensuring appropriate care
Event Organization and Management
- Organize sport events by coordinating with other officials, venue staff, and participants before and during competitions
- Conduct pre-match or pre-competition briefings with participants to review rules, procedures, and expectations
- Document match or competition records, results, and any incidents that occurred during the event
Communication and Relationship Management
- Communicate information clearly and effectively during sporting events, explaining rulings and decisions to participants and spectators
